• To what extent will their intellectual property be protected?

  Each expert has entered with GITA into agreement on anonymity. Therefore, none of the commission members will disclose any kind of information concerning presented ideas.

• How can applicants from regions submit their ideas?

  Interested parties from the regions can submit their applications through the web-portal at the following address: https://grants.gov.ge.

• Are the projects with requested financing under GEL 5000 eligible for funding?

  It is possible to receive funding for the project with less than GEL 5000 amount requested by applicant – e.g. GEL 2000 or GEL 3000 projects.   

• Is it allowable to receive the amount exceeding GEL 5000?

  No, the maximum amount to be granted for one idea is equivalent to GEL 5000.

• Application submission time frame

  Submission of applications is possible year-round.

• Who are the members of Grant Project evaluation commission?

  The commission will be composed of GITA’s qualified analysts and invited experts. Experts will evaluate ideas in terms of certain criteria, such as:  extent of innovativeness of the presented idea, its commercialization potential, feasibility of similar projects, etc.
