The Innovation and Technology Agency began the "Innovative Startup Acceleration Program" from January 2026. The program aims to strengthen Georgia's startup ecosystem, develop innovative and technological business ideas, increase their investment attractiveness, and facilitate their entry into the global market.

Within the framework of the program, winner international accelerators - Plug&Play, Startupbootcamp, 500 Global, and Founder Institute - started to implement  a one-year acceleration program. The program will help early-stage innovative startups with idea validation, establishing a scalable business model, ensuring growth, and attracting investments.

The one-year full acceleration cycle includes three phases:

Phase I - A 2-month intensive training and mentoring period for selected startups.

Phase II - A 4-month period focused on creating and refining a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), ensuring product-market fit, and increasing competitiveness. At this stage, startups receive intensive training and mentoring. Each startup will receive a grant of 50,000 GEL from the agency.

Phase III - A 6-month period during which startups receive individually tailored support. This includes developing sales strategies, facilitating entry into global and regional markets, expanding the customer base, and optimizing revenue generation. Each startup will receive a grant of 150,000 GEL from the agency.

The program is fully funded by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency.

Starting January 2026, Plug and Play and Startupbootcamp began the acceleration process, while 500 Global and Founder Institute will join the program from July.
